About 6 weeks ago we stayed for 1 night in your warm, lovely and beautiful bed-and-breakfast in Boston Bar. We arrived in the afternoon and found your lovely place by coincidence, but what a lucky one! You gave us a warm welcome and great hospitality!
We felt immediately safe and at home! You are such a friendly, kind and special couple, we are happy that we've met you.
Unfortunately we could not stay another night, although your B&B was so inviting for us. Now at home again, we have fallen the normal, daily and busy life. But we have so many good memories of your beautiful country!
Also lots of pictures, to remember this special holiday during the coming winter and never forget it!
We want to thank you again for your warm hospitality and trust and the marvelous fish and chips ànd breakfast! We know life was not always kind to you, sometimes even very though, and we admire your positive way of thinking, trusting people and faith in the future.
You are a shining example for us and we hope for lots of other people!
Thank you again and we wish you all luck!
Lots of love!

3rd annual Wanderung horse ranch weekend!
The horse back riding trip was a huge success. 8 of us in total went up to Canyon Ranchlands for a weekend of laughter, long walks under the bridge, uncontrollable canters on the horses, jokes, jabs, hot-tube induced fun, and more food than the entire club could eat in one sitting. The trip started out sorry that one member was waiting at the wrong sky train station and missed the trip. After a half-hour wait, we set off in my car and refreshed in Hope at the local hole in the wall subway. We then carved our car up the beautiful canyon to find the second carload from Vancouver coincidentally arrived at the ranch at the exact same time. Following introductions I noticed that everybody was very similar in age, career level, and fitness level. The group gelled immediately. We had two late comers and they mixed in like raisons in a bag of trail-mix. The ensuing horseback riding was spectacular. The next day, as people were heading back, a few of us stayed behind on the rustic porch and enjoyed a little country living. Our hosts, Jim and Vicky, were absolutely great and welcoming. I will certainly do this trip again.

Wanderung Horse Back Riding Trip Review
Hi Group,
The trip was a big success. I had a fantastic time and I want to thank each of you for joining me. Big thanks to Jim and Vicky for partying with us, treating us like family, and for the extra long second ride (Jim, how are you feeling?)
I have a few photos to show.
I'm happy to do a trip like this again if I get such a great crew again.
I'll talk to Buddy to see if he wants to take us fly fishing (cast like you swing a rope).
Take care.
Steve, thanks for the web site to present this trip.

Dear Jim and Vicky,
Thank you so much for the time we spent with you and for the pictures.
Diane has sent the picture of the three of us to several of her
customers and Elizabeth has framed the same picture. I have put this
picture and your brochure up on the board in the lunch room at my work,
so, I hope you know I am letting you know how much we enjoyed our last
trip to your place and (of course) are planning our next trip there.
Your friend,
Susan

Tom Jackson & the Crew
Tom Jackson & the Crew came to the Boston Bar School during their Dreamcatcher Tour to speak with the students and then put on an inspiring show to let them know no one has to feel alone or to be alone. The cross Canada tour was to empower communities suffering the loss of young lives to suicide.
Tom then returned not long after to our community while traveling On the Holiday Train producing the CD On the Holiday Train. We all enjoyed his visit, the brightly lit train and many donations were made to the fundraising project for the Canadian Association of Food Banks organized by the Canadian Pacific Railway.
Tom Jackson is known throughout Canada for his acting, musical and humanitarian work. Many may remember Tom winning a Genie Award nomination in 1987, staring as Billy Twofeathers from 1991-1994 in "Shining Time Station" and as Chief Peter Kenidi from 1992-1998 in "North of 60" to name a few accomplishments in his acting career. Musically he is also a Juno-nominationed singer and songwriter having released 11 albums including "I Will Bring You Near" in 2001. His humanitarian work is inspiring. Tom created the annual Huron Carole Benefit Concert Series for the Canadian Association of Food Banks and has donated much of his album sales to the Association; the Calgary Inter-Faith Food bank is assisted by royalties from the video airplay from four of his singles; the Dreamcatcher Tours ; The Red River Relief Benefit for those affected by massive flooding; he spearheaded and hosted the CBC News world coverage of Say Hay for drought-stricken prairie farmers.
Tom Jackson became an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2000 for his music and humanitarian work and in 2002 was awarded the Queen's Jubilee medal.
Thank-You for your dedication Tom Jackson you are an inspiration !

Dave Mustill - Ghana Education Centre
Dave Mustill (Aircraft Dispatcher T1, LHR) visited us in 2006. Our conversations were extremely interesting. Dave started with raising financial aide to help build The Lord is My Shepherd Educational Centre in Kasoa, Central Region, Ghana. He spoke about how he and a group traveled to Ghana to help prepare for and build the school. He spoke about need of continued support. It's amazing what volunteers can do and what a difference financial aide can do to make others smile!
