Boston Bar and North Bend will be celebrating "May Days". There are very few communities who still celebrate the traditional May Day's. A May Day Party is selected by peers to represent the town; the new May Queen is crowned and students perform the May Pole Dance. The determination to have a family event and keep tradition draws the community together to successfully celebrate this community fair. Local and outlaying community businesses sponsor the event. Sponsorships are acknowledged through the May Day raffle, appropriate ads and/or articles as well as during the Saturday May Day Ceremony by our Master of Ceremonies. This weekend is made possible by our sponsors and volunteers to keep it affordable for families while raising some money for their individual groups that contribute to the community. To help make the event successful everyone is invited to participate, to increase attendance and to help build community neighborhood spirit. Thanks in advance to all the Volunteers, Business and Public Support to help keep this traditional Community Fair alive.

Hi Uncle Chris the Clown,
Thanks for giving the kids a grand time !! At the Boston Bar / North Bend May Days 2004 Fair. Having participated in organizing the event we have heard many compliments from Mom's and Grandma's about how busy and entertained you kept the children throughout the day. Your quick humor was enjoyed by both the children, youth and adults. Your ease at accommodating and interacting with the events we had on the fair grounds was absolutely wonderfully. We have and will continue to recommend you for any kind of fair and/or children's event. . Take Care, Vicky
